Details:
This is a non-auditioned choir. All musical levels and abilities are welcome. Rehearsals will be fun and informal and will focus primarily on the folksong repertoire (both traditional and contemporary) of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Parents are welcome at all rehearsals and are encouraged to attend with their children.
Parking is at a premium and there are other events taking place at St. David’s at the same time. Those attending choir may park at Towers Medical clinic next door, as parking is available there after-hours. If you are dropping off your child, you can do so at the horseshoe-shaped driveway at the front of the church (Sanctuary entrance).
If choir members are sick, we ask that they stay home to avoid infecting others. If in recovery but still somewhat symptomatic, we ask people to mask at rehearsal until their symptoms are fully resolved.
Sheet music and song-sheets must be downloaded and printed off from the “materials” webpage, to which participants will receive access after they register.
