Vinland Music Camp 2018 Program
The program for the Vinland Music Camp includes daily workshops which, unless specifically noted, continue at the same time each day Monday to Friday (see the 2018 Workshop Schedule at the bottom of this page). These consist of instrumental and vocal techniques, songwriting, and music history. Special guests will occasionally be giving workshops as well. Every evening there are jam sessions and concerts, followed by dancing and camp fires. Wednesday afternoon there’s a field trip to Woody Point, with a charter bus dropping everyone off for a jam session at the Merchant Warehouse restaurant. Thursday night there’s ‘Kill the Devil Night’ – a fun evening of skits and music. During recreation time you can go swimming, hiking, and canoeing – as well as practise or write a song! We finish the week with on Friday evening with our final concert featuring our Camp participants. Everyone leaves Camp after breakfast Saturday morning.
Visit the Vinland Music Camp main page for general information about the Camp, including a list of instruments taught and special guests who will be attending this year, as well as a brief history of the Camp.
